KAIZEN Institute of Zambia Limited (KiZ) has awarded certificates to 7 people after they successfully completed their Consultant Training Level 1 in Lusaka Thursday December. 11, 2020.
Speaking after presenting the certificates, at KiZ’s Kwacha House office along Cairo Road, Chief Executive Office Chola Mwitwa congratulated the graduands for successfully completing the course and welcomed them to the cadre of KAIZEN philosophy crusaders. He further said as business begins to grow and expand, the need for Continuous Improvement expertise will grow and thereby increasing demand for you as is the case in advanced countries that are ever seeking competitive
Mr. Mwitwa encouraged them to read more on KAIZEN saying it “will enable you go beyond the work that KiZ is doing”. In fact, it is said that Kaizen begins and ends with learning.
And speaking on behalf of the participants, Mr. Benjamin Meenkela from Kafue Steel Limited, thanked KiZ for giving them an opportunity to learn about the “important concept” as it had made feel to be a part of the KAIZEN implementing team.
He expressed hope that, with government’s approval of the National Productivity Policy, the implementation of the KAIZEN philosophy will be encouraged in the nation in order to further develop Zambia.
The KAIZEN Consultants Training (Levels 1) oriented the participants on the Evolution of Quality and Productivity Management, Scientific Management, Theory of Constraint, the origin of KAIZEN, the 5S Methodology, and the Quality Control Circle (QCC) Theory and Practice.
The Training goes up to Level 4 to complete the Programme and be fully Certified.
