This is an opportunity to be an integral team member of our Continuous Improvement team to lead process improvement efforts for our customers in quality improvement, cost reduction, delivery time reduction, and productivity improvement. It is expected that the role will leverage KAIZEN and Lean methodologies to document and measure operational processes, extract and analyse process data and develop strategies to drive improvements. The Consultant must possess the skill and flexibility to support several customers at any given time.


The Consultant is a key person of the Institute responsible for leading the efforts of KAIZEN Promotion. The objective of this position is to lead the Customer to attain improvement objectives, including but not limited to such areas as Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Security, productivity improvement, customer satisfaction, workforce development, using KAIZEN Tools and other improvement concepts.


  • Work directly with customers to establish goals and objectives related to quality and process improvements toward successful completion of projects.
  • Contribute to the nationwide KAIZEN project through KAIZEN programs such as training, awareness creation, consultancy services and other initiatives.
  • Prioritize projects to ensure resources are appropriately applied to achieve established goals at the department level.
  • Monitor metrics relative to KAIZEN projects and initiatives.
  • Manage customers.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor level degree is required with minimum of 3 years industry experience.
  • Disciplined, structured and logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects successfully.
  • Proven record of delivery against deadlines.
  • Previous experience leading or assisting process change projects related to implementation and use of improvement approaches especially KAIZEN is preferred.
  • Ability to learn and apply statistical analysis to complex business problems.
  • Manage projects and ensure their completion.
  • Good communication abilities, verbal and written.
  • Good Leadership qualities
  • Influences change and supports others in the change management process.
  • Demonstrated passion for not accepting the status quo and self-driven to improve the business, courage of conviction and open to critical feedback.
  • Demonstrated and consistent strong performance over time and an aptitude for learning
  • Strong facilitation and organisation abilities, excellent listener
  • Knowledge of Key Government Policies such as Development Plans, Commercial, Trade and Industrial Policy, Agricultural Policy, Government Priority Economic Sectors, Investment Policy, Quality Policy.
  • MS Office Suite, Word, Excel and Power Point, One Drive and Outlook
  • ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) knowledge and Practice
